Disney 2000 -
Reet continues to enjoy Santa Barbara, being "Uncle Reet" to Silvy's daughters and doing his swimming with Silvy at Goleta Beach, time and weather permitting. I don't see him much at all despite the small (300 miles) distance between San Francisco and Santa Barbara but we speak (and e-mail) enough to still be a part of each others life. He's more than a brother to me-he's more a part of me. And, I suspect, I will always be a part of him as we continue to go down life's wacky roads, both together and apart. For a couple of NYC apartment kids it's been an interesting time for us, filled with some great adventures and magic moments.I am truly blessed to count Reet among my friends - he has always been there for me, through good times and bad. He is one special dude and I will always treasure our times together, both past and future! Happy birthday to you! Love ya,
E.Q

Hiya reet,
Thought I'd slip down and type a few words of affection and bewilderment... it won't be much since it's hard to type with wings but rest assured that there's a place set up here for ya.. no hurry tho'. Stick around down there for a while longer, there's a lot of kids growing up that need you for their children. hey, did ya hear the one about the three jews and a pope. Well, they get to the pearly gates and then they... oops, gotta go....love ya
agee.
I've been down to Santa Barbara a
few times to see him, but not nearly enough. Hopefully I can make it
thru there more in the future. I wish I had a lot more specific
exciting memories, but that's all I have in my mental archives at
this point. This is a story that I'm sure has a lot further to go.
Happy B'Day to Reet and best wishes.
Jeff
Happy Birthday Uncle
Reetie!
We'll dance the Rasta Pokie across the tundra in your honor on New Year's Eve.
Paul and Cyndee Sugar
I hope that this history fills some
gaps and adds to the patchwork of
memories that his wonderful network of friends is constructing with love for the Little Bonzo Dog.
Reet, we love and miss you and know that we'll see you in person in the not too distant future,
WayneBob (Wayne R. Binns, Ph.D)
I wish that I could make this somehow replace both the diary...and a wife n kids... but , when all is said and done, it's just a glorified birthday card.
Keep my children warm
tony
Truly now one of the nicest , good
hearted people on the planet.
I had in the past descibed him as one of the most insane sane people....... we all mellow. He is one of those right brained people that come up with things that do not dawn on even the smartest . Sometimes artistic or just a simple solution. He saved me from fire (probably not my life, but , certainly harm--major) I simply, as most of his friends, have too many stories to tell, He is like a brother ( drive each other crazy) I would never want to lose ..... I have gone out late at night to break in to his car when he has locked his keys in -- changed tires , taught him to change his oil , got him to ride waves.
What I wouldn't do for him ...... that I don't have an answer for.
Silvy
Tho I don't see you much anymore, you are never far from my heart. I have always treated the memories of our shared adventures as small treasures. I think of you often, I always think of you on New Year's Eve. Hope you are doing ALL REET and that the world is treating you all right. Love,
Mark Derison

Whether it was because of music, outlook
on life, or "other things" I don't really know.. What matters is that
30 years later we're still friends. I love ya Reet..
Zman
If our friendship and association in
media production can spread a little Reet Magic along the way, we'll
all be the better for it. Thanks buddy! I love you,
